Sage M. Park
Sage M. Park is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, holding a medical license from the state of Virginia. She received a bachelors degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Connecticut and a Master’s of Science from Fairfield University.
She started an Applied Behavior Analysis consultancy in the Middle East 8 years ago in Riyadh but moved to Jeddah in 2015 and currently spends most of her time there. Her business in the kingdom consists of two branches of Behavior Analysis, which provides her opportunities to engage with a variety of different people, both expats and locals.
Sage holds a specialist certificate in Organizational Behavior Management and uses this knowledge to conduct management training courses for companies such as Unilever and Najm Insurance, among others. The training courses are 10 months long and consist of one, 6 hour large group training session per month (two topics per session) and then 2 small group coaching sessions throughout the month. The trainees are responsible for developing and implementing action plans based around the training that they receive each month. The trainings are around various topics designed to increase the effectiveness of managers and help them develop leadership skills. Trainings include, but are not limited to, topics such as: Time Management, Creating an Inclusive Culture and Improving Communication.
The other branch of her consulting business is developing intervention plans for people with behavioral difficulties. In this role, Sage conducts assessments, develops plans, and then trains stakeholders to implement the plans in order to decrease maladaptive behaviors, teach skills and increase desired behaviors.
Many of Sage’s clients attend AISJ so she has had a strong working relationship with the staff and families there for the past 6 years and has maintained a small client base in Riyadh and the US. In addition to her consulting business, Sage teaches Master’s level courses part time in Applied Behavior Analysis through an online program at the University of Arizona.
