JeNNIFER HARPER
Jennifer is the Compliance & Governance Consultant for AmCham Saudi Arabia. In this role, she is responsible for developing and maintaining all governance documentation for the organization, including the organization’s by-laws and constitution, providing legal information with respect to the organization’s non-profit status, and advising of any suggested changes to the governance structure as the organization grows. She also oversees all internal procedure development for executive team processes and organizational functions, such as large-scale programs and committee organization. Jennifer prepares the AmCham Saudi Arabia annual report, which serves as a yearly update for the board, members and key stakeholders. She transitioned to this role in October 2024 after relocating to Dubai; she now works remotely for AmCham Saudi.
Jennifer first joined AmCham Saudi Arabia in September 2021 as the Chapter Director for the Eastern Province. During her tenure, she launched the Chapter and grew membership from 2 interested participants to more than 100 members representing some of the biggest names in the U.S. energy sector. She organized more than 20 events per year in the Eastern Province Chapter bringing value to our members and partners. Jennifer first arrived in Khobar in 2014 and shortly after, started working with the American Business Association of the Eastern Province, until relocating to Manila in 2018, so she has a wealth of experience in what she fondly refers to as "old and new Saudi".
Jennifer is also a licensed attorney in the State of Texas. She holds a law degree from Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, MA and a master’s degree in Social Work with an emphasis in Non-Profit Leadership and Management from the University of Missouri - St. Louis.
