Mission: Promote closer association and cooperation among U.S. defense and security industries which are present in Saudi Arabia.
Profile: The Committee facilitates the exchange of information concerning the Saudi Arabian market among the U.S. defense, aerospace, security, and education industries providing a means to focus AmChamKSA’s attention on the continued awareness and representation of international-related issues. It aims to identify opportunities and challenges that can enhance the Saudi market and their ability to work effectively with the U.S. and Saudi governments. During the regular meetings, members of the Embassy team and invited guests share items of interest to our sector members.

Technology and Knowledge Transfer Cooperation
Develop a strong and prosperous defense technology and industrial cooperation mechanism that is instrumental for maintaining the bilateral relationship and enhancing cooperation and sustainable growth to achieve improved innovation.
Global Standardization
Creating an open procurement process based on global best practices and industry standards, creating a competitive and level playing field to facilitate the ease of doing business and contributing to a more efficient supply chain for the industry and the Kingdom.
Programming:
World Defense Show: The World Defense Show will be coming to Riyadh in March 2022, with AmChamKSA planning to participate in the Women in Defense Program, networking receptions, and the WDS Thought-Leadership Program.
Business Ethics & Transparency Initiative: Series of engagements on the topics of business ethics and transparency.
Public-Private Partnership Series Involvement: Liaising with Infrastructure Committee through Aerospace and engaging with the Commerce Law Development Program at the Commerce Department.
