On January 29, 2025, the AmCham Saudi Arabia Technology Committee hosted the panel discussion "Cybersecurity Policy and Regulation: Enabling Digital Growth with Resilience" at the Marriott Diplomatic Quarter, Riyadh. The gathering focused on the critical role of cybersecurity in facilitating digital transformation and growth within the framework of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
The event commenced with opening remarks from Vera Ghazal, Co-Chair of the AmCham Technology Committee and Oracle Alliance & Channels Tech Leader for Saudi Arabia, who set the scene with an introduction of the objectives of the AmCham Technology Committee and the evening’s event. The audience then heard from Mohamed Djenane, Senior Director of Sales Engineering for MENA/APAC at Seclore Technologies benefited from a presentation on Seclore's advanced data protection solutions.
A dynamic panel discussion was moderated by Hossain Alshedoki, Global IoT Security Leader at KPMG, featuring esteemed experts including Ali Zubayd (CISO, Digital Government Authority), Abdullah Almutairi (Head of Cyber Security, Saudi Industrial Development Fund), Mohammed Al Badrani (Chief Digital Officer, Paramount Digital), and Justin Endres (Chief Revenue Officer, Seclore Technologies). The panelists shared insights on advanced data protection strategies, compliance with Saudi data protection regulations, and national cybersecurity strategies aligned with the country's development goals.
