Mr. Moumina’s career spans for over 35 years. It includes: leading a publicly held company in the food and retail sector, leading a family business conglomerate, and career advancement in banking. Anees’s last position was the Group CEO of Savola Group ( www.savola.com) until Dec. 2020 which he has held for 3 years. Savola is one of the largest food and retail publicly owned Groups in the MENAT Region (Middle East, North Africa and Turkey). Under his leadership, Savola was restructured and transformed from making a net loss of SR 520 Million in 2018 to a net profit of SR 476 Million in 2019 and a net profit of SR 910 Million in 2020. The Savola share price has also more than doubled. Prior to Savola, Anees held the position of CEO of SEDCO Holding Group (www.sedco.com) for 5 years. He also worked with Citibank / Samba Financial Group (www.samba.com) where he advanced to roles including General Manager and Senior Credit Officer. Additionally, he also worked with Proctor & Gamble Co. He is currently serving on a number of boards including: Dr. Suliman Fakeeh Hospital Company, Almatajer Al koubra Ltd (Virgin Megastores), Jeddah Development & Urban Regeneration Co. (JDURC), Effat University, Savola World, and Majid Society. He also serves as a board member on a number of charity and community organizations.

Anees has previously served on a number of boards including: Vice Chairman of Savola Food Company, Vice Chairman of Panda Retail Company, Vice Chairman of United Sugar Company, Vice Chairman of Afia International Company, Vice Chairman of Variety Food Company (Al Kabeer), Vice Chairman of Herfy Company, and Board Member of the following companies: Saudi National Bank (SNB), Almarai Company, Knowledge Economic City Company (KEC), and Elaf Group. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Engineering Administration with honors and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with honors, both from The George Washington University - USA. He has also completed a number of extended executive programs at Harvard University, Columbia University, and Wharton University. He was awarded a number of local and international awards which include: Family Business CEO of the Year 2017 by CEO Middle East Magazine, and Revolutionary CEO of the Year 2015 by MENA CFO Awards
